Rock the Boat

"I must break you!"
Drago - Rocky V

So ya know I've been having the urge to buy a sail boat for a few years now. The weird thing is that I have not even been on one....until today.

One of my co-workers owns a sail boat and on the night of a full moon he takes a few people out to the Annapolis Bay to see the sunset and the full moon rise. I decided to join him this month before the weather gets cold. The sail boat is small to medium sized and things seemed cool in the beginning. We went all the way out to the Bay Bridge, saw the moon rise, and headed back to dock the boat. Little did I know that return trip would be worse than a plane landing with major turburlence!!!

I can't swim (yet), so I decided to keep my feet planted to the boat and ready to get a life jacket just in case, lol. The wind whooped our tail the entire return trip. I mean the boat was getting knocked around like it stole something from the water. We were about 15 feet from the bottom of the bay. A few times, the boat felt like it was about to tip over in the water. I mean it was straight leaning HARD into the water. I was thinking this may be it for ya boy. Sun had set, moon was out, and it was dark. I was thinking "this water is dirty has heck! I don't want to be in that mess." If I'm gonna go down in some water at least let it be clean.

But we made it back safely :-) I was happy to touch the ground and to be on my way to the crib. And I still am going to buy a boat. I just will have to make sure that joint is medium to large sized, gotta learn how to sail and swim, and then I'll be straight. I won't be going out in crazy weather either, lol. So in the next year, I will have a sail boat :-)

Got back to the dock, and my co-worker was like "I gotta stop pressing my luck! I took a few risks with you all." lol
