"Nothing is owed to us, everything is given to us. We were not created to possess, but to "be with..."
The Gospel of Mary Magdalene (by Jean Yves Leloup - page 61)
Today in DC is another march. And this is good because the people who are tired of the injustices and lack of equality in the legal system are going to march around the Justice Department. I wonder how much news coverage this is going to get. Lets stay tuned for this one...
Love love love love love. I can honestly say that I have been in love twice (1996-2000 and 2002 - 2004). I know I've talked to a few people in the past about love and one question came to the front and hogged the conversation for a long time. That question is, "how do you know when you are in love?" My response to that question was when nobody else of the opposite sex exist besides your current, you would move away with that person to another state without any hesistation, you can be around that person 30 days in a row and still want to be around them 24/7 on the 31st day, you are ready and willing to go to war with that person (ryde or die) in a mental or physical battle with someone else, you are ready to compromise just to keep everything stable, you listen, you communicate, you want to share everything with that person. Love is something that is not spoken, its one of those things that is done. Its the most powerful emotion and thought in existence. So it is easy to understand why people get a taste of it in life, and they are eager to get it back. Its one of those things I believe every person should experience and get.
Ever wonder where your soul mate is? Exercise patience. But keep it mind, this person may have approached you in the past and you could have turned them away.
As for me, I've been single for I would say a year now, and the last I've seen love was back in January 2005. Do I miss it....of course. I'm patiently waiting for its return.
Some things in life happen at the most unique times, usually when you don't see it coming. Ya know, you plan for certain things to happen at certain moments, and the all of a sudden when you turn around you see a whole new opportunity with a unique perspective. Me being the opportunist I am, will always seize the moment.
On another note, I'm reading this book and it has this great story I'm gonna share with you all soon.
