Straight to the point...I have to admit, lol, there are a lot of selfish folks in this world. I'm sittin here thinking, how many times per day do folks I know either flake out or act selfish. And I'm not talking about my friends, I'm just talking about the average joe out there I am familiar with or is an acquaintance of mine.
Case and point...I hear all the time about people wanting to go do this and go see that and live. They say they want this out of life, and be willing to compromise if this happens. But then when it comes time to do all those things, one of two things happen, lol. They either disappear, not answer their phone, texts, or emails for at least two weeks. Or they use money, religion, or family as an excuse to not act.
So I been sitting around tryna think why people flake out like that. Is it fear of the unknown (more often success), or is it selfishness? Why won't you stop sitting on your money and take a life changing trip to a place you've never been? Why are you using your child(ren) as an excuse to not do A B or C. Why is religion (not God) stopping you from living. Do you honestly belive that school takes up so much time you can't go to 7 11, lol. I mean heck, I've taken 6 classes during one semester, worked full time, still managed to take 2 trips and get a 3.75 gpa.
But then if I mention something free and easy to obtain, lol, things change and suddenly you are available. Don't work like that with me. But you know what :-)
Yes readers, its coming out now, lol. Dealt with tooo much flakiness this past week and I'm a little tired of it.
God help us! I'm humbled to you always and ready to serve your will.
