What's Next

...And the black woman can't carry the weight of the family for another 200 years if the black man don't stand up...we won't be no mo!"
Pastor Manning - 2009 Tribute to Donald Young

Chaos is everywhere, lol. But I won't be talking about anything emotional today. I've decided not to be a truth teller today. I've decided to talk about a positive in the world today. I visited a local high school not too long ago and it took me down memory lane. It reminded me of my high school...big, lots of students, academic excellence, balance, confidence, woman majority, and felt a sense of respect. I graduated from the best high school in America, lol, Detroit Cass Technical High School...the winner of the Steve Harvey Hoodie Awards in 2007 and 2008. So you automatically know we are great, lol. But this high school in Maryland is called Flowers High School did nothing less than impress me. The young ladies in their are poised to be the future leaders of the world. The young men are coming along too. I know I left their happy, with a feeling of some hope that the future is ok. But we gotta keep our young black men motivated. I'd hate to see our black women leave them so far behind.

Lets keep up our efforts in these school systems and everythang will be alright. Turn our youth into scholars, that perform there own research and come to a solid conclusion with substance, the way the majority of us should have been.
