What? Who?

I was thinking today about the top 5 comedians off all time to me. Folks who know me know that I love to laugh. It took me a while to get down to 5 because I had 8 on the list. So, I just declared a few ties in there :-) What I did is think about the comedians who withstood the test of time (been around for at least 10yrs) and constantly puts out funny stuff.

1. Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy
2. Martin
3. Steve Harvey
4. George Jefferson, Redd Foxx
5. Tim Allen, Sinbad

I will give folks like Katt Williams, Chris Tucker, and Chris Rock honorable mention but they need to step it up to the next level and keep it there.


The meaning behind today's quote is really folks need to understand who they are and their purpose in life. I found this quote in this book (A Course in Miracles) that I have been reading, and it sums everything up pretty good...


" "Many are called but few are chosen" should be, "All are called but few choose to listen." Therefore, they do not choose right. The "chosen ones" are merely those who choose right sooner. I've only been doing this blog for a week, and the more I write, the more I realize this blog cannot won't allow me to express everything fully that I want to say. The few paragraphs I have written thus far haven't even scratched the surface. Stay tuned....
