Here we are...

"Why do we have to go back to the future doc? What do we become assholes or something?"
Marty Mcfly - Back to the Future, Part 1

I'm sitting here under the influence somewhat, while in Atlanta visiting friends, and getting ready to head out to this "dress up party". I'm thinking to myself about the decided book I am going to write starting next Wednesday through December 31st. The topic I will not reveal but it is something I know I feel passionate about and I'm glad I am finally going to get this done. Im going to write about 3 pages per day. And the book will end up around 200 pages. So stay tuned for that.

One thing I have noticed since I have been here in Atlanta is my memory isn't what it use to be. So now I have decided over the next few months I will put emphasis on memory and recognition. I hate forgetting folks names because when I see them again, I draw a blank and it makes me look bad. So this is my pledge....I will not forget.

Something I discovered I don't care for is bad traffic. Atlanta's traffic is terrible!!! Why is rush hour here from 2pm to 7pm? There is no reason why it should last that long. Washington D.C.'s traffic is a godsend compared to Atlanta's traffic.

I have began thinking about my life and what I want to accomplish next year. If businesses can start advertising about their Black Friday and Christmas specials one month early, so I can start thinking about my 2008 goals. I recently sat down and talked with my manager's manager about my career goals and life plan. And that meeeting further inspired me to keep pushing for the best in life, and it also made me realize that my manager and I are cut from the same cloth. And noticed something since I've been on this new project....my manager keeps pushing me. I wondered what was up, and now I understand. She knows that we have the same mentality, and she is determined to push me to succeed in life. And for that, I am grateful. Thanks Boss!!
