Who's Who

It makes no difference how long the day, trust in God, He’ll make a way; it’ll be all over in the morning.
The Winans - Aint No Need To Worry

The one thing about the holiday season that I love is work is basically nonexistant. From Thanksgiving to really MLK weekend, work slows down to nothing. During this time, I do a little purging. Ya know, down time equals thinking. But this isn't the topic of this blog :-)

Bout to take this into left field. Age. When I was in Detroit I had a moment to sit around a look at my nieces and nephews, siblings, mom and uncle, and grandparents. When I look at my nieces and nephews, I see a lot of life, energy, love, kindness, and just general happiness. Then I look at myself and my siblings, I see a lot of focus, determination, laughs, some struggle with life's challenges, and a little weakness to the smile and love of my nieces and nephews. Looking at my mother and uncle, there is wisdom, understanding, history, life succcesses and failures, and unparallel love for my grandmother. Then in her, I see life itself at its peak because she has experienced and seen it all; and there is some tire from that. But in all these people, at the different stages of life, the one common theme is love.

The bible says God is love. So in everyone in my family, all I see is God. The bible also says ye are gods. Think about what everyone in your family is about mentally, and you will see God.
