A lil Hstory

"I put no stock in religion. By the word religion I have seen the lunacy of fanatics of every denomination be called the will of god. I have seen too much religion in the eyes of too many murderers. Holiness is in right action, and courage on behalf of those who cannot defend themselves, and goodness. What god desires is here [points to head], and here [points to heart], and what you decide to do every day, you will be a good man - or not."
Hospitaller - The Kingdom of Heaven

Another day has come and gone in 2008, and so far things are looking up for me. I just gotta keep forcing the issue on things and have patience.

I can't believe the Pistons let the Celtics beat them yesterday. The rematch is in two months.

A few weeks ago my mom sent me the link below. It has me thinking about a lot of things about life. So I have been sharing it with a lot of folks I know. While I haven't done a lot of research on the claims in the documentarty myself, I still wanted to get it out to the masses to see what they think. Because right now, I'm like this mess is crazy! LOL!

And this brings to thought the Ancient Library of Alexandria (something that should be on the ancient wonders of the world list). This library was created like in 3 B.C. and stood until 700 A.D. What happened was everytime a ship or person passed through Cairo, the Egyptians would take all of their books and duplicate it by hand and put it in the library. They also sent out request to all the world for copies of every book. It also was a massive research center for scholars. So we are talking over 1000 years worth of books written in the ancient world and research. This library was the key to the history of man. But man had to get crazy and start doing what they do best, destroy. It was considered to be a pagen temple, so naturally it was destroyed because it held other knowledge. I have no doubt that if that library stood today, there would be no questions or debates about man's existance.

"I just gotta keep forcing the issue on things and have patience." How are you having patience if you keep forcing the issue? Sounds like an "oxymoron'd" statement to me. I'm just sayin...
