Well, that's the difference between you and me. Don't get mad, Tito. It's the law. Sucks, huh? Well, maybe when this is over with, you can come and work for me.

So yeah, I had a very intense phone conversation with one of my fellow co-workers this past Saturday night. It was pretty much about significant others. We were talking about what we preferred: a mule or a race horse. What that means is do you prefer your mate to be a mule, someone who is in chill mode, doesn't mind living in your shadow, will help you out if you need it, and will pretty much do whatever you say; they are happy with life just because you have chosen to be with them. Or do you want a race horse, someone to keep you motivated about life, spontaneous, would love to walk at your side and achieve goals with you, and loves you just as much as you love them.
Me being the go-getter type of person that I am, will always look for the next challenge and goals to achieve in life. My co-worker is the same way. Where we had a difference of opinion is, she is married to a mule, and is unsure of somethings in life, but she's content. And I'm happy for her about that. But as for me, my desire is for a race horse. I'm a motivated person, but I know (and have experienced) if there is a woman in my life that is anywhere near motivated about life and goals as I am, that will push me that much harder to achieve a lot of good things. I prefer the woman to stand at my side and experience life with me, and not be behind me cheering me on. She needs to be at my side doing spontaneous things with me and all that jazz.
But ya know, I was glad I had that conversation. I haven't been that worked up in a long time, lol. Had me thinking about it all weekend and wanting to talk more about it with other people. But ya know, nobody wanted any, lol.
So what do you want....a mule or a race horse. Either one, as long as you are happy, I'm happy for ya.

I'll take my race horse over any mule anyday. That's what keeps things fresh and exciting. Besides, race horses tend to strive to be winners. I like winners!!! OH YEAH!!
