Lions = Nothingness

So today, the Lions will attempt to avoid being the worse team in football history. Geez, how did it come to this?! LOL! Looking at every other sports team in Michigan, there were periods of greatness. You had the Tigers doing their thang in the 30's, 40's, 60's, 80's, and that 2005 team. Got the Red Wings all throughout Hockeys existance doing their thang. You have the Pistons Bad Boy I and II era's. There is the Detroit Shock tearing up the league in the 2000's. All of these era's resulted in multiple championships and finals.

But then when you look at the Lions, outside of the Barry Sanders era, there is nothingness. Barry got the Lions to the NFC Championship game once. Nothing else happened in his era that is worth mentioning team-wise. Bad coaches, quarterbacks, GM's, everything is bad. And now today, the Packers are going to attempt to put the stamp on the Lions legacy of nothingness.

Well, thankfully football season only last 16 weeks. I can't even imagine watching them play for 6 and 7 months. I mean, how can a team be sorry for so long? LOL
