We are there. Right on the brink of Christmas. Months and months of savings to help give to others. Giving back. Helping out. Lending hope. Offering assistance. Showing love. Appreciating others. Being thankful. And while we are doing all these things, some think we are in the middle of a world evolution. Black US President. Economic shift. Technological advancements. Climate changes. All of these things are happening right at once. That is amazing because 5yrs from now, how big of a change will these major areas have affected our way of life. That is something that we today will never know. But in spite of all those things, I will have to continue to live in a christmas mode 24/7 because that is one thing I am able to control.

I was sitting around thinking about my grandmother these past few days and I miss that woman so much. This will be the first christmas without my grandmother and 5th without my grandfather. I know its snowing bad in Detroit right now, and if she were here she'd probably be looking at all the snow come down out of her back window and say something like "ooooowweee, look at all the snoooooooow!" in her sweet soft spoken loving voice. Then after the snow would stop, my grandfather would make his way outside and shovel the snow and put down some salt. They had a real loving relationship.

And thats what this season is all about ya know. Love, family, giving, and being happy about life :-) Even if you have a Charlie Brown Christmas tree, lol. Be grateful you got a tree at all and decorate it like its no tomorrow.
