I Got Something For Ya

"7's the key number here. Think about it. 7-Elevens. 7 doors. 7, man, that's the number. 7 chipmunks twirlin' on a branch, eatin' lots of sunflowers on my uncle's ranch. You know that old children's tale from the sea. It's like you're dreamin' about Gorgonzola cheese when it's clearly Brie time, baby. Step into my office.....why?.....cause your freakin' fired!"
Hitchhiker - There's Something About Mary"

Here are a few questions I want you to ask yourself today. I provided my comments on each question.

1) What are you pretending to not know?
Sometimes in life, we are in situations that can make us look foolish and we tend to pretend that a certain situation we are in doesn't exist. Everybody else can see the flaw except us. So we as individuals need to stop pretending certain things do not exist, acknowledge them, and improve our lives. It all starts within.

2) What are you waiting on?
Here again, in life we sometimes look for something to blame as an excuse to not do this or that. Knowing good and well we are just afraid to live and be successful. Sometimes we are afraid to succeed. Go ahead a live your dream, embrace it, and be happy.

3) Do you know if God knew your plans he would laugh at you? (stole this line from a movie)
This goes into play with the life plans we selfishly create for ourselves without taking into consideration what God's purpose is for us. Think about your life needs (not wants) first, then everything else will be added unto you. Keep an open mind about every situation that comes to you in life because you never know what God has in store with you. More often that not it is completely opposite than what we visioned.

4) Do you know who you really are?
Think about it. Do you... I mean, I don't want you to think about what someone else has told you or what you've read. I mean, if you take away all your life successes, all of your accomplishments and failures, and your wants and needs. Getting down to the raw bone of who you are. Do you know who you are? Look at what really matters most in life, then you will understand that we are all connected, and that is who you really are.
