"How do I say goodbye to what we had? The good times that made us laugh Outweigh the bad."
Its So Hard To Say Good-bye To Yesterday - Boyz II Men
A good friend/co-worker of mine is a little sad these days. Her mother passed away a week ago from lung cancer, and the funeral was last Thursday. So I went. I have mixed emotions about funerals ya know. From personal experience, I was hurting bad on the inside, but then I also know they are with the Father and that is nothing to be sad about. Funerals should be a rejoiceful moment :-) But it hurts. And looking at my friend and her family, they have my sympathy and love. Moving on to the enemy...cancer. There needs to be a cure for that because it is just taking people away far too soon. Or we need to just take care of our bodies, we only get one.
This also leads me to say this: enjoy every moment with everyone you know because nobody knows the exact day or hour they will leave this place and move on to being with the Father. Watching those caskets close on someone at a funeral can be painful ya know; nobody will ever see that body again. So yeah, enjoy everyone and enjoy life unselfishly.
